Who made this product? The tunisian artisan studio dishes & deco was founded in 2009. This studio grew out of a love of mediterranean dishes and the desire to bring them to european and american markets. The result is a variety of colorful mandala-like patterns and bold stripes. Inside the 8,000 square foot studio, over a dozen artisans hand paint each line, dot and stroke of glaze onto the white clay dishes. -

Who made this product? Natural Olive Wood is a family-owned business that crafts utensils from non-productive olive trees. Two brothers, born and raised in Tunisia, learned the art of carving the trunks of olive trees as children. Today, they use that skill to produce naturally beautiful olive wood pieces which highlight the distinct swirling patterns of the trees' twisted trunks.
Why is it ethical? Natural Olive Wood upholds ethical principles by providing artisans with a fair wage, selecting trees sustainably, and recycling materials whenever possible. Nonporous by nature and coated in a protective layer of olive oil, Natural Olive Wood products are safe and sustainable.

Who made this product? In a small town outside of Antigua, Guatemala, the Artesanos de San Pedro have created a workshop dedicated to the sustainable production of handcrafted cutting boards and wine stoppers.
Why is it ethical? The Artesanos de San Pedro procure recycled or sustainably sourced wood from the Smartwood Alliance in order to secure the future of the wildlife that surrounds their community.
